Goose Fair

Nottingham Goose Fair returns from Wednesday 30 September to Sunday 4 October to thrill and delight locals and visitors alike.

The Forest Recreation Ground will once again host over 500 attractions, from the latest white knuckle experiences, family rides and the old favourites including waltzers, carousels and Hook-a-Duck. For thrill-seekers there will be around 100 adult rides and exhibitions.

The easiest way to get there is by tram or bus from Queen’s Drive Park and Ride which will drop off close to the Forest.

Robin Hood Marathon – this Sunday!

Road closures and diversions in place

This year the races have a brand new route. Keeping the bits we love – Victoria Embankment, The University Campus and Colwick Park and now running past famous iconic landmarks in the City like Nottingham Castle, through the beautiful deer park at Wollaton Hall and going right into the heart of the City centre in the Lace Market and Market Square.

The new route means a different programme of road closures and restrictions than we’ve been used to in the past. Roads and public transport in and around the city will be affected. Check the route and plan your journey now.
