Community Learning MK is offering a variety of courses in the Autumn/Winter term. You'll find new and familiar favourites among the pages of the latest course brochure. Pick up the brochure from the Community Learning Centre or one of the Libraries or Family Centres.

You can visit the course database to read more about each course. Many of the courses are FREE and you can enrol online. For fee-paying courses simply click the 'enquire' button and a member of the team will be in touch to help you enrol and take payment.

 

English and Maths

Would you like to improve your English or Maths skills?

Community Learning MK offers a selection of courses to help adults ages 19+ improve their maths and English functional skills and gain qualifications.

Before enrolling on any of these courses, we'll help you decide which one will be the best. We do this with a skills check appointment before the courses begin.

• Tuesday 9 July - 2.30pm to 5.30pm
• Wednesday 10 July - 12.30pm to 3.30pm
• Wednesday 22 July - 9.30am to 12.00pm
• Thursday 25 July - 5.00pm to 8.00pm
• Monday 5 August - 2.30pm to 5.00pm
• Tuesday 6 August - 5.00pm to 8.00pm
• Monday 2 September - 2.00pm to 5.00pm
• Tuesday 3 September - 4.00pm to 7.00pm

Employability

You’ll find a selection of new and familiar courses to help you gain skills and support you into employment. These employability courses are FREE and you can enrol online now for courses starting in September/October. We're also running Summer Skill sprint 2-day qualification courses in July to boost your professional development:

• Introduction to Child Development – 23-24 July (EPA01613)
• Entry to the Hospitality Industry – 23-24 July (EPA01612)
• Health and Safety – 30-31 July (EPA01611)

Art and Craft

We have art and craft courses for beginners and experts alike, ranging from dressmaking to stained glass to quilting and perfume making. We've added several brand new crafts for you to try and also have a series of Saturday half-day workshops. With the festive season fast approaching, we also have some Christmas crafts to prepare you for your creative gifts and decorations.

Health and Wellbeing

Languages

Whether you're looking to begin learning or improve your existing language skills, we have courses to suit various language levels in Japanese, Spanish and Italian - and don't forget the lip-reading course!
