We’ve partnered with the Milton Keynes Islamic Arts & Culture organisation to stage an extra special free finale to the City of Codes & Light Festival and celebrate Milton Keynes becoming a city. Eurovision sensation Sam Ryder is headlining on 8 October and there will be magical performances including light and laser shows all evening.

Digital Light Parade:
- Combines high-impact drumming with kaleidoscopic lighting from street theatre companies, Cirque Bijou and Worldbeaters.
- Meet at 19:00 at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone (Saxon Gate, MK9 2ES)
- Short performance at The Hub Piazza at around 19.45/20.00
- Parade ends at Station Square at around 20.30
Light Projection:
- From Limbic Cinema in collaboration with Aphra Shemza and students from Shenley Brook End School, ‘Radiance’ will transform Christ the Cornerstone Church into a moving and canvas of light, colour, and pattern.
- Live from 19.15 - 20.00
There will be accessible viewing areas and dedicated seating areas at MK Station Square and accessible viewing areas at The Hub.
Food and drink
Food and drink will be on sale at Station Square throughout the evening, with some fantastic vendors planned including Egyptian, Indian, Greek and Lebanese street food, burgers, chips, pizza, churros and hot drinks. The City of Codes & Light festival finale is a dry event and no alcohol will be sold or permitted in Station Square.

Parking in the city centre is free after 6pm.
- Toilets and accessible toilets will be available at MK Station Square.
- For any lost children or other issues at Station Square, please head to the signed central information point.
- There will be a first aid tent and medics on site.
- We strongly recommend that dogs do not attend the parade or Station Square due to expected crowd numbers and noise levels.
- If the number of attendees reaches capacity at Station Square, there will be no further admissions.
