Consultation on monographs containing statements relating to dispensing and supply

The British Pharmacopeia (BP) is consulting on whether to remove statements of the following format from the BP:
“When [product name] is prescribed or demanded, [monograph title] should be dispensed or supplied”.

It was agreed by the BP Expert Advisory Groups on Pharmacy (EAG PCY) that stakeholders should be consulted on the issue.

It is proposed that the statements are removed from the following monographs:
