Further details

Heavy showers will develop through Tuesday afternoon, perhaps becoming more persistent in places later. Whilst not everywhere will see showers, some places may see 10-15 mm of rain fall within an hour, with 25 mm possibly falling very locally in 3-6 hours. As the ground in these areas is already near saturated, this rainfall brings an increased risk of flooding. Lightning may be an additional hazard.
