Invite: Opening of Cozenton Park Sports Centre
You're invited to the official opening of Cozenton Park Sports Centre on Tuesday, 16 July.
This special event takes place between midday - 2pm. Please join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour around the sports centre to see all of the new facilities including our fun pool.
We can't wait to show you your brand new sports centre in Rainham. It will provide Medway residents with a new council-built sports centre for the first time in over 30 years.
Refreshments will be provided and the event takes place a day before we open the centre to everyone on Wednesday, 17 July.

Free parking is available on-site.
If you're travelling by bus, Arriva's 132 bus service stops near top of Bloors Lane (a five- minute walk from the bus stop to the sports centre)

 Among the many incredibly exciting new features at Cozenton Park Sports Centre include:
- A new fun pool for Medway, including a flume and waves (wave ball is the only pool that has this facility in Medway, generating artificial waves)
- 4-lane swimming/training pool with a 0.9m shallow end and a 1.5m deep end
- Beach area with fun features including a mini slide and a mushroom spray fountain
- A state-of-the-art gym with natural light all around the facility while providing stunning views over Cozenton Park
- A multipurpose dance and fitness studio that can also host parties (with an accompanying kitchen next door)
The new centre is inclusive for everyone with a range of accessibility features including two pool lifts, wide entrances, Changing Places room, lockers, toilets and showers.
