Medway Park Gym to undergo major upgrade

We have been busily working behind the scenes with high-end gym providers such as Pulse Fitness to design the ultimate gym for all our customers.  So whether you’re new to working out in the gym or are a professional gym-goer, they’ll be something to satisfy your endorphins.

We're delighted to be able to share with you an artist impression of our new-look gym and can't wait to see you all get going on the new equipment. In the meantime, our staff are on-hand to answer any questions or queries you may have and will happily show you around to get to grips with the new equipment on completion.

The gym will be closed to the public from 4 until the 12 April but when it re-opens you can expect an extensive range of brand new equipment!  Read below to find out more.

So grab your water bottle and take some time for yourself to enjoy the benefits of regular exercise in a safe and fun environment.

weights

Our new range of plate-loaded resistance machines will aim to dispel the misconception that weight training is only for the few and will encourage weight training, muscle building, strengthening and toning workouts for everyone, at any level.

The ever-popular free-weight area will remain with racks of weights and benches to suit the beginner, improver or professional.

Top of the range cardio equipment includes bikes, rowers, treadmills and cross-trainers each with full 18.5 inch digital display screens.  Using the latest technology, these machines are Bluetooth and internet enabled allowing you to sync your favourite headset to Netflix, Amazon TV, immersive seascapes or your own digital work-out.

For the ultimate fat-blasting, calorie burning and sweat-drenching workout we will be introducing unique pieces of equipment such as the latest StepMills, and Alpha and curved treadmills which use gravity to move you along and adapts to your individual speed.

on demand bike

Following the popularity of on-demand workouts that really took-off through lockdown, we are also introducing on-demand Techno-gym bikes where you can choose your class, level, instructor and environment that you would like to cycle through.

Using enhanced console and software technology the new machines will be supplied with unique QR codes to scan and track your completed exercises.

New rubber flooring will be installed throughout the gym offering an improved dimension to the ambience of the entire gym.
