Heart of Kent Walking Festival
From 20–29 March, we’re inviting walkers of all ages to grab their boots and discover the landscapes, heritage, and hidden gems that make our part of Kent so special.
Hosted by the Maidstone Borough Council Marketing & Events Team, this 10‑day festival features a brilliant mix of guided walks, perfect whether you're a seasoned hiker or love a gentle weekend wander.
 Explore the stunning Kent North Downs
 Stroll through ancient woodlands
 Wander charming village routes packed with local history
Expert walk leaders will be sharing fascinating stories about local wildlife, historic buildings, and the long‑loved footpaths that weave through our countryside.

Join family and friends for a joyful afternoon on Sunday 8 March of colour, culture, and community as we celebrate Holi together!
Festivities begin at 12:30pm, with a vibrant programme packed full of music, dance, games, food stalls, and more.
Bring a dish or dessert to share and enjoy a delicious spread created by our community.
There will also be colour powders available to purchase on the day for you to really get involved. Plus, there will be a raffle featuring fantastic prizes!
Everyone is welcome, come and join the FREE celebration!
