Remembrance Sunday ParadeĀ
Sunday 9th November
Join Maidstone's annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations, featuring a parade and service of remembrance at the War Memorial in The Broadway. The parade will set off from Earl Street and Week Street at 10:30am, with a two minute silence at 11am followed by the laying of wreaths.Ā
Details of the day as follows:
10:30Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The parade will step off from the junction of Earl Street and Week Street and makes its way to the War Memorial in the Broadway (opposite Maidstone West Railway Station)
10:50Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The Service of Remembrance will commence at the Memorial and will be followed by the laying of wreaths
11:15Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The dignitariesā party, followed by the parade, will process back into the High Street where the Mayor and Commanding Officer take the salute from the parade
11:25Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The parade turns into Week Street and makes its way to its point of dispersal

Christmas Light Switch On |

Thursday 20th November, 4:30pm till 7pmĀ
One Maidstone BID is excited to announce the return of Maidstoneās Christmas Lights Switch-On, bringing a sparkling start to the festive season in Jubilee Square.
The Town Centre entertainment will begin at 4:30pm with fun mascots and plenty of photo opportunities. From 5:00pm, a vibrant stage show will feature live music and performances, all building to the grand switch-on moment with the event finishing at 7pm.
The event is FREE to attend, and everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. Don't miss out on this magical evening that marks the beginning of the festive season in Maidstone.
