Heritage Spaces Interpretation Project
Tell us about your favourite Heritage Space in Maidstone
Maidstone Borough Council and Maidstone Museum are inviting residents to put forward their favourite Heritage Spaces in Maidstone as part of a new interpretation project. A Heritage Space can be anywhere that is important in Maidstone’s history and culture.
Interpretation of spaces can look like a number of different things. Lighting up a significant building, recording a soundscape of spoken memories or music to bring a space to life or additional information about the space or building such as information boards.
We are also inviting residents to participate in focus groups that will look at the list of spaces residents have put forward and short-list them.
The focus group sessions are available to anyone living in the borough of Maidstone and aged 18 years or over.
The sessions are being held at Maidstone Museum on:
- Monday 21 July - 6pm to 7:30pm
- Thursday 24 July - 6pm to 7:30pm
Click here to visit the project page and find out more.
Consultation closes: 30 June 2025
