It’s time to book tickets for swash buckling outdoor touring performances of The Three Musketeers taking place in gorgeous surroundings around Maidstone this summer.
Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) has teamed up once again with the Hazlitt Theatre and Parkwood Theatres to bring this thrilling story to life in a summer open air tour. This tour is part of a joint initiative to make performing arts accessible and affordable for all in the local area.
Just £5 per ticket or £15 for a family of four.

Each week, there will be crafts linked to the museum's new exhibition ‘I grew up ’80’s’ all about 1980’s popular culture, as well as a craft about our new gallery – ‘Lives in our Landscape’ and the third craft each week is dinosaur themed.

Heritage Open Days

Every September volunteers across the country organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. It's your chance to explore hidden places, many of which are not normally open to the general public, and try out new experiences - all of which are FREE!
Open days at All Saints Church, behind the scenes at the Maidstone Carriage Museum, and tours of the Town Hall are just some of the activities on offer - what will you discover?

Ice Cream Festival 24-26 Aug
Keep the children sweet with the chance to sample over 40 varieties of delicious ice cream, as well as waffles and sundaes at the Ice Cream festival. With a topping station offering marshmallows, sprinkles and syrups too, visitors with a sweet tooth will be in their element!

Hops & Harvest Beer Festival 7-8 September
Kids will enjoy joining in with the traditional handpicking of hops and meeting some historical characters from Kent's past, while adults can sample up to 50 varieties of locally produced ales and ciders at this popular festival.
