Maidstone Christmas Donation Hub Open until Saturday 16 December

Working in partnership with The Mall, Maidstone Borough Council is hosting a Christmas Donation Hub which is taking in festive gifts, toys, toiletries, household products, food items and more to be shared with local charities who will distribute them to those who may be struggling to afford to celebrate this year.
Located on the upper level of The Mall, the Maidstone Christmas Donation Hub is being manned by volunteers and will be gratefully accepting donations Monday – Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
We are so grateful for so many donations already. If you are looking to donate, we particularly need non-perishable food items for the MBC community larders and gifts for teenagers and men.

Locate 24 QR codes in Maidstone town centre shop windows for a chance to win a £150 shopping voucher or a VIP Family Panto Ticket for 2024. Get trail maps online or from designated spots around town including the Maidstone Christmas Donation Hub, The Mall, Maidstone Museum, Hazlitt Theatre and Frederic’s.

The Moon Exhibition *Finishing Soon* - Available until Saturday 16 December
Come and re-live historic moments in lunar exploration and discover over 5,000 years of mankind’s fascination with the Moon, from the Stone Age to the Space Age.
Tickets to enter the exhibition cost £4 for adults and £2 for children, or get a great deal with the family ticket which includes 2 adults and up to 3 children for only £10. These tickets are available to purchase at reception on the day.
Christmas Craft Market This Saturday 9 December

Maidstone Museum will be holding their annual Christmas Craft Market which will have stalls full of lovely gifts and goodies, from local confectionery producers to unusual hand crafted goods, there will be items for all ages!
Entry is free and the market will be running from 10am - 3pm.

Christmas Glass Workshop with Mona Whitton Friday 15 December
Join Mona Whitton, winner of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas on Channel 4 for a relaxing two hour session making a beautiful stained glass star decoration for your tree. Enjoy a festive mince pie and hot beverage whilst learning a new craft to decorate your home.

Head to Lockmeadow Food Hall for the Local Producers Christmas Fair on Saturday, 9 December, from 10am to 3pm, offering free entry.

Christmas Yule Tide With A Survivor's Story CIC Sunday 10 December
Jump Into Christmas with A Survivor's Story. Explore stalls, meet Santa, enter into the raffle or take part in the Football Mini Auction in aid of supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
Bring the kids to come and see Santa for £3 per child while adults can enjoy exploring the variety of stalls!
A Survivor's Story CIC will also have a Toy Donation Station where you can donate a brand new toy to be delivered to a refuge for children who may not otherwise have anything this Christmas.

The Maidstone Singers' Christmas Celebrations Tues 12 & Wed 13 December
Head to St Martin's Church for The Maidstone Singers' Traditional Christmas Celebrations this December. This will be a Christmas concert with plenty of audience participation with a glass of wine and light refreshments included.
The event will be running from 7.30 - 9.30pm both evenings.

The market will be running from 9.30am to 1.30pm and entry is free!
