Mote Park Art Competition Exhibition Until Friday 3 November
An exhibition of the shortlisted entries from this year's Art Competition
Featuring stunning artworks from both the Under 18's and Over 18's categories, which capture the beauty of Mote Park. Open 10.30am to 3.30pm at the Mote Park Learning Space and entry is free.

The Moon Exhibition Available until Saturday 16 December
Come and re-live historic moments in lunar discovery and exploration and discover over 5,000 years of mankind’s fascination with the Moon, from the Stone Age to the Space Age.
Tickets to enter the exhibition cost £4 for adults and £2 for children, or get a great deal with the family ticket which includes 2 adults and up to 3 children for only £10. These tickets are available to purchase at reception on the day.

Explore Space with Astronomer Caroline Beevis Saturday 4 November
Join Caroline for 2 hours of fun space activities! Enter the Milky Way and zoom past the planets, find out about constellations in the night sky, make your own Constellation Cone and much more.
There are two sessions available to book and this event is suitable for children aged 7-11 years old. Tickets cost £16.50 per child and an accompanying adult can attend for free.

Space Dogs & Night Sky in Namibia – Talk Saturday 25 November
Join Astronomer Caroline for talks on ‘Space Dogs’ and ‘Night Sky in Namibia’. Caroline is a lifelong stargazer, a member of the Mid Kent Astronomical Society and a guest astronomer in the Namib Desert.
Tickets are £8.00 per person per talk. Suitable for ages 12+. Attendees will also get free entry into the new Moon exhibition.

Send Santa a postcard back to the North Pole!
Look for the bright red giant post box in the Love Food @ Lockmeadow Food Hall.
Children visiting Lockmeadow can write on a postcard and post it in the giant post box which has a special super-fast route directly to the North Pole where the postcards will magically arrive!

Come down to Lockmeadow for a weekend of festive fun, meet Santa in his sleigh, along with his workshop elves.
Free entry to meet Santa in his sleigh and his elves Friday 24 November between 4-7pm and again on Sunday 26 November from 11am to 3pm.
New for this year, there will also be a children’s winter funfair outside in Coronation Square!
