What will the changes mean? |
|
|
We understand that families have lots of questions right now and are anxious about what the proposed changes will mean for their children and young people.
Please be assured that nothing changes for your child right now:
- No immediate changes will be made to existing support, EHCPs or school provision.
- Children’s needs will continue to be met through the current SEND Code of Practice.
Once the consultation has been completed and the government publishes the finalised frameworks, we will be able to provide clear information about what the changes mean for Manchester families.
