Apprenticeships What do the different levels mean?
Intermediate (Level 2) An intermediate (level 2) apprenticeship is equivalent to five good GCSE passes
Advanced Level (Level 3) An advanced apprenticeship is equivalent to two A Level passes
Higher (Level 4/5) Level 4 apprenticeships are equivalent to a foundation degree
Degree (Level 6/7) Degree Apprenticeships are equivalent to a bachelor's degree (Level 6) or a master's degree (Level 7)
