Remembering Geraldine
A year on from when she left us, we celebrate Geraldine Hills and her legacy. Geraldine contributed so much to the city, and this was acknowledged with an MBE for services to Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in the 2024 New Year’s Honours List. She was a major drive behind Manchester Parent Champions who celebrated their 10th anniversary last year. The picture shows Geraldine at this event – with her tiara! She is very much missed but still lives on, empowering the parent carers who knew her to encourage others in turn. Thanks again, Geraldine. What a star!
