Ahead of the Great Manchester Run, pupils of Ladybarn Primary School were given a real lesson to remember.
On Friday 24 May, professional marathon runners Besty Saina and Vincent Kipkemoi Ngetich dropped in to classrooms for a Q&A with the kids.
Questions came thick and fast as the kids we’re excited to find out more about their achievements, where they came from, what they’d won and how fast they really are!
It was a thoroughly fulfilling day, and both Vincent and Besty had a terrific time. We would like to thank Great Run for their support in pulling this together, and we can’t wait to organise the next opportunity to inspire local children through the power of sport.
