Manchester’s One Million Minutes Challenge
Every minute counts! Read for Good and Read Manchester are joining forces again to launch a fantastic free challenge to promote reading in your school, business or community and support children’s reading in hospital. Help reach One Million Minutes of reading, and ‘unlock’ book boxes for local community groups and donate a day of storytelling for children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Get involved by joining the Challenge today!

Reimagined City - International Migrant Day
Reimagined City is a two day collaborative festival that showcases migrant culture through art and music activities to bridge the gap between the understanding of migrant culture and local culture.
Join us at Manchester Central Library for day one of the festival for a Percussion Recipe workshop, led by Harriet Kwong, to explore rhythm and world instruments. Learn a bilingual song with the Gey Teal Girls' Choir too! Day two of the festival is at Cross Street Chapel, where you can enjoy a medley of classical, folk, and Christmas tunes by musicians with international roots.
