The BIPC in Central Library have launched a podcast studio, where people can record and edit their own podcast for free.
Podcasts can be a great way to bring attention to your business and reach a brand new audience. They're increasingly seen as a marketing tool for even the smallest businesses. It’s all about finding your audience. They’re a way of reaching out to your customers and finding new ones too.
Now you can create your own with their professional equipment.

BEE Net Zero
BEE Net Zero is a new resource for small to medium size businesses (SMEs) to support Manchester's goal to become the easiest place in the UK to be a green business. Access advice and finance through their Business Support & Funding finder or check out the other sections, all to help you and your business move towards net zero.
Business Growth Hub
Start Up Vision is aimed at pre-start or early-stage businesses (less than 1 year old) based in Greater Manchester.
You will get fully funded access to practical, hands-on advice and support from an experienced business adviser. Together, you will develop a personalised action plan for your new business to enable you to take the next steps to success.
Where relevant, you could also gain access to funded training courses and workshops or practical ‘done for you’ support services.
Whether you want to learn more about business registration; cashflow management and book keeping; brand identity and marketing strategy; developing ecommerce capability; improving your social media skills; building a website; getting started with e-marketing; or something else, they want to help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to put your ideas into action.

Groundwork
Enterprise Development Programme (EDP) Groundwork has joined the Enterprise Development Programme (EDP) as an Environmental Partner to support charities and social enterprises operating in the environment sector to become more sustainable.
Organisations are invited to apply for the programme to receive tailored support to help grow their business or enterprise.
Groundwork will work closely alongside a cohort of environmental organisations to help them to develop a package of support including:
- Access to a bespoke learning package co-designed by organisations and Groundwork,
- The opportunity for financial support to put learning into action,
- Peer-learning and networking opportunities with other participants,
- Access to pro bono legal and financial expertise,
- Valuable information about the world of social enterprise from leading experts.
The programme will be aimed at supporting Environmental not for profit voluntary or community organisations (including registered charities/companies) whose primary purpose is to deliver environmental programmes and projects.
