It's a change of day and extended time for our next Drop In at Manchester Youth Zone in Harpurhey!
It's on Tuesday 18th April, 10am to 12.30pm.
Our Drop Ins are for parent carers and young people living in the Manchester City Council area. We hope to see you there!
Talk to other parents & carers
One of the best things about the drop ins is the chance to talk to other parent carers. The Manchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF) and Manchester Parent Champions will be there to answer your questions and offer support. There will also be parents from The SPACE group and other local groups.
Which services will be there?
We'll be joined by services around special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for children and young people up to 25. This includes SENDIASS for your education questions. If you are looking for stuff to do in the local area, Short Breaks staff will be on hand. (Please note, staff don't do Short Break Reviews at the drop ins - contact the team separately about this.) Other services that regularly attend include Rodney House Outreach Service, Lifted Carers Centre, Equal Education Chances, the Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN), About Me, and Phil Samphire, Travel Trainer.
Please note: The usual Educational Psychologist from One Education won't be at this session.
