Welcome to our update letting LCO MFT deployed staff know more about the introduction of the new Hive digital transformation programme and electronic patient record (EPR) system at MFT which launches in September of this year.

Hive training registration is now open for LCO MFT deployed staff. You should have received an email with your login details on Friday 29 April at around 11am. This email will have come from the MFT Communications email, titled ‘Hive LMS registration welcome email’.

Please make sure you login using these details now. Without these login details you will not be able to access the new MFT Learning Hub or register for your Hive training.
- The majority of LCO health staff will need to have training for Hive over the summer so you can use the system when it launches in September. The level of that training will depend on each service.
- It only takes a minute to login. Once you log in you'll see the training that has been allocated to you.
- If you need face to face training you’ll need to work with your manager to agree your training schedule to ensure rotas and leave are considered. Once agreed, you or your manager can book your training sessions on the new Learning Hub.
- If you just need the e-learning module you will also find details on your profile once you login. The module will not be available to complete until June onwards but it is still vital you login and create your account as soon as possible.
- We need everyone to have signed up to their training dates by June 24th at the very latest.
- Even if you don’t use clinical systems and don’t need Hive, you will need to login and register for the new Learning Hub which will be replacing the old Learning Hub for all MFT training.
What if I can’t find my email?
- Please check your deleted items and your junk folder in your email first of all for the mail from April 29th

Please note that LCO staff DO NOT have to attend the MFT Hive ACE Day which takes place next week. You may have seen the all MFT staff email and invite that says all clinical staff need to attend but we have clarified that this is not relevant for LCO staff because Hive is a bit different for us.
Instead, there is an LCO ACE day taking place that is not Hive specific. You can find details of the LCO ACE day on the LCO extranet here:

We’re currently planning for our virtual Hive roadshow specifically for LCO staff that will give you a chance to see Hive in action and get to know the LCO elements of it a little better.
This will be an open MS Teams event you can log into live or watch back at a time that suits you. Look out for the invite coming in the next week or two.
As part of the Hive programme we will have a network of Superusers who play a key role in supporting other staff. If you are a superuser, look out for specific communications coming to you over the next few days.
