The Factory Academy Working in partnership with creative organisations across Greater Manchester, The Factory Academy deliver skills and training programmes that offers a variety of training opportunities including paid internships, training academies and work experience programmes. Its aim is to empower the hidden talent that will make tomorrow happen and create pathways into jobs in the creative and cultural industries.
All of their courses are fully funded so are entirely cost-free for participants – all you need to commit is your time.

Culture Recovery Fund: Emergency Resource Support Further grants are available for England’s cultural organisations, across all sectors that were previously solvent but now find themselves financially at-risk because of the impacts of coronavirus restrictions. Through the programme, Arts Council England will offer funding to meet shortfalls between applicants’ operating costs and income up to a point where they can demonstrate a return to financial viability, but no later than 31 March 2022. Grants of between £25,000 and £3 million are available. Applicants must first complete a ‘Permission to Apply’ form by 11 January

Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage Emergency Resource Support reopens The Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage: Emergency Resource Support is for organisations that are in severe need. The funding call has been reopened to further support the sector over winter. The Emergency Resource Support programme will give organisations at imminent risk of financial failure an opportunity to bid for support, protecting even more organisations so that they can continue to create jobs and contribute to the economy. Grants of between £10,000 and £1 million are available. Deadline: 11 January
