MANCHESTER,
YOU LOOK GREAT!
Yesterday, Monday 12 April, was the day many Manchester businesses could finally open their doors.
And judging by the photos, lots of Mancunians have been out enjoying our city and feeling a little more normal.
We are so happy and excited to see a buzz back in town as Manchester continues to open up – carefully, gradually and safely. If we can get one message across today, it's a thank you to the businesses that have opened back up in a way that's safe for everyone.
We’re all in this together and need to keep this up - keep following the rules to make sure the fun can continue and the rest of our wonderful city will be able to open up.

IT’S ALL DOWN
TO BUSINESSES
Until yesterday, non-essential businesses across the country were closed under lockdown restrictions.
We spoke to Thomas’s Chop House and Fred Aldous before they opened up and they shared how excited they were, explaining how hard they had worked to make their businesses Covid secure and ready for us to enjoy.

JUST A QUICK
REMINDER!
Please remember that if you’re enjoying the sun in your local park, having a pint outside your favourite (newly opened!) eatery, or you’re off to finally get your hair cut... stick to the rules.
Wash your hands, wear a face covering, keep your distance.
You can only meet outdoors and in groups of six people – or larger groups between a maximum of two households.
And finally, not everyone is ready to get out and about just yet– and that’s OK. Check in on your friends and neighbours (safely) and if you need support reach out.
