Cabin Fun - On-site & Home
Anson Cabin in Longsight is running inclusive play sessions for 5-13 year olds who live in the Manchester City Council area. On-site activities include cooking, camp craft, arts and crafts, and gardening:
Week one: Tuesday 6th – Friday 9th April, 10am-12 noon & 1-3pm
Week two: Monday 12th – Friday 16th April, 10am-12 noon
Places are limited and need to be booked in advance. You can select individual sessions but if you would like your child to go every day, please choose every morning or afternoon. There are COVID safety practices in place, including mask-wearing/visor for anyone over 11 years old who isn’t exempt, and parents are unable to stay on site. Activities are mainly in the garden so appropriate clothing is needed. There are toilet facilities and snacks, usually toast or fruit.
There are a number of home packs for children who are isolating or shielding. These can be delivered within a 1 mile radius of the site, otherwise collection can be arranged. The home packs have ingredients for cooking sessions, craft packs, and a gardening/planting activity. Children need to be registered before the holidays so staff know of any allergies or dietary requirements. For more information and to book, email info@ansoncabin.co.uk or call 07756 591948. Anson Cabin is at 38 Meldon Road, Longsight, Manchester, M13 0TR.
