Winter Mini Challenge 2020
We are “snow” excited to announce the Winter Mini Challenge programme from The Reading Agency. The Winter Mini Challenge encourages children to keep reading through those cold winter holidays and begins on 1 December.
The Reading Agency is teaming up with brrr-illiant children’s publisher, Knights Of, to present ‘Everyone Is A Hero’ reading challenge, a challenge celebrating all reading heroes across the UK (and beyond).
All you have to do is choose a reading goal and then read that many books before the end of the Challenge. You can rate and review your books on the website and you’ll unlock a limited-edition virtual badge for your profile and a special certificate that you can print out and keep.
Check it all out here!

The latest addition to our memory box collection covers the Burnage area. Take a look and see if the photographs trigger any forgotten memories for your family of growing up in Manchester. The worksheets included can be used as prompts to start a conversation and we're encouraging everyone taking part to share their findings with us.
