New adult social care workforce report in LG Inform
Good quality information about the adult social care workforce is vital to help improve the planning and quality of social care services, which will improve outcomes for people who use these services, both now and in the future. Adult social care is a sector that is all about people. We need to secure the right people, with the right attitudes, behaviours and skills, working in the right places and feeling valued and empowered to enable, facilitate and support so we can deliver the right types of care.
Working with Skills for Care we have developed a local adult social care workforce report in LG Inform. The report is designed to highlight some of the key headline measures drawn from the Skills for Care (SfC) workforce intelligence for councils and registered care providers, and complement the more detailed interactive SfC workforce intelligence visualisations.
