Dear colleague,
We welcome you to this month's events bulletin where the spotlight is on the second Urban Summit, hosted by the LGA’s City Regions Board which will take place on 22 March in London. This free to attend event will bring together urban leaders, academics, think tanks and others with an interest in the future of cities to discuss three questions: What are cities? What do we need our cities to be? What is the difference and how do we get them there? The summit will hear from Andy Haldane, Chief Executive, Royal Society of Arts before offering attendees the opportunity to get involved in discussions, hear from other speakers and shape the debate. For more information and to book your place, please visit the event page.
Looking further ahead, we also hope you can join us at the National Children and Adult Services Conference later this year. This is a must-attend event for councillors, directors, senior officers, directors of public health, policy makers and service managers, and any individuals or organisations with responsibilities for children and adult services in the statutory, voluntary and private sector. Delegates will hear about, and respond to, the very latest thinking on key policy and improvement agendas in social care, children’s services, education, health and related fields. To book and to find out more, please visit the conference website.
Please find below details of our other forthcoming events.
