Next month’s LGA Annual Culture, Tourism and Sport Conference will take place on Wednesday 15 March, in London, and will look at the huge contribution culture, tourism and sport can make to delivering on local and national priorities. Delegates will hear from councils, national funders, academia, tourism and sport, including LGA President, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, Baroness Lola Young OBE, and many more fantastic speakers are confirmed. We also hope you can join us at the Annual Public Health Conference 2023 which will take place on Tuesday 21 – Thursday 23 March. This key annual public health conference will take place over three half day virtual sessions, offering delegates the opportunity to hear from leading expert speakers on the very latest thinking in national public health policy issues, as well as gaining insights from those delivering on the ground. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in sessions sharing good practice from local areas and to discuss issues that matter to them. This conference is being run by the LGA in partnership with the Association of Directors and Public Health (ADPH) and the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) and is free to attend.
