Welcome to this month’s LGA Events bulletin.
The final report of the Commission on Culture and Local Government will be launched at our event on Thursday 8 December and will be an opportunity to hear the key findings and recommendations of the Commission as well as network with attendees. Book your place to join us in-person or virtually.
Next year’s hybrid LGA Annual Culture, Tourism and Sport Conference will take place on Wednesday 15 March, in London, and will look at the huge contribution culture, tourism and sport can make to delivering on local and national priorities. Delegates will hear from councils, national funders, academia, tourism and sport, including LGA President, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson. Book your place to join us in-person or virtually.
The LGA Annual Conference and Exhibition will take place on Tuesday 4-Thursday 6 July at the Bournemouth International Centre. It’s the biggest event in the local government calendar and attracts over 1,500 representatives from local and central government, business and voluntary and community organisations. LGA member councils can take advantage of the early bird booking fee, but hurry - it closes at the end of this month!
