In this month’s bulletin, two events are highlighted that might be of interest to you.
The first is a webinar on Shared micromobility: How local authorities can make the most of new mobility options and will take place on Monday 14 November 2022. Delegates will hear from local authorities that are increasingly embracing innovative modes of new transport business models beyond traditional ones; including shared e-scooters, e-bikes, cargo bikes and other shared micro mobility schemes, recognising their potential benefits to provide an alternative to private car use and support decarbonisation of transport.
The second event is the LGA Annual Fire Conference and Exhibition 2023, taking place, in-person, on Tuesday 7 to Wednesday 8 March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. The conference is a key date in the diary for senior fire officers and members of fire and rescue authorities to meet and discuss developments impacting the fire and rescue sector. Delegates will hear from a range of expert speakers about some of the key issues facing fire and rescue services and consider how to meet these challenges.
