‘Green Book’ National Agreement
The three local government unions (UNISON, GMB and Unite) are expected to lodge their pay claim for 2022-23 very soon, which you will note is beyond the usual pay award implementation date of 1 April.
An employers’ circular was issued on 19 May 2022.
Updates will be provided to Employer Link subscribers as appropriate. There will be an Employer Link pay briefing for our subscribers that will take place at 2pm on Wednesday 13 July 2022: Book your place on the Green Book Pay Briefing.
Pay negotiations: Craft Workers (Red Book)
A pay deal has not yet been agreed by the Joint Negotiating Committee for Local Authority Craft & Associated Employees for April 2021. The National Employers advise against implementing the pay offer before the collective bargaining process has concluded.
