As the local elections draw to a close we now open our group elections.
This year we will be holding internal elections for Leader, Deputy and Treasurer.
Guidance on the elections, nomination forms and timetable can be found on our website.
We will be holding our elections electronically, so members will receive an email rather than paper ballot paper. More information on how to vote will follow.
In the meantime, if you are thinking of standing for any of the positions, our Returning Officer will host a Q&A session this Friday 14 May 2021 at 4.00pm. This Q&A will focus on the new electronic election process – one already used by other groups across the LGA. For those who can’t make it, an FAQ document will be produced and added to our website shortly after the event.
There is another briefing after the close of nominations for those confirmed to be standing.
