Dear colleague,

On Thursday 11 March, the LGA will be hosting a webinar on COVID-19 vaccine communications: tackling hesitancy and misinformation and we would be delighted if you were able to attend.

As the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine programme expands beyond the top four priority groups, effective communications and engagement is integral to its success. This webinar, featuring speakers from local and central government, will look at how councils and public sector partners can increase uptake of the vaccine by working to understand and tackle vaccine hesitancy and counter misinformation.

Speakers include:

  • Camilla Mankabady, Communications Director, Liverpool City Council (Chair)
  • Kulvinder Naga, Communications and Engagement Lead (Test and Trace), Birmingham City Council
  • Charlotte Goulding, Senior Communications Officer, Waltham Forest Council

This is a virtual Zoom webinar.
