Event on the assimilation process to the new NJC spine - 9 January 2019

Dear Colleague,

Employer Link provides the secretariat for a nationwide Heads of HR network for multi-academy trusts (MATs). This network leads us to arrange relevant events that are for the benefit of the sector.

We are arranging a session on the assimilation process to the new NJC spine. This session will be facilitated by The National Joint Council for Local Government Services, with both national Employer and Trade Union representatives. It is a free session, open to all academy and MAT subscribers.

The meeting is taking place on the 9 January in London. We expect this to be a very popular event and spaces are limited. However, we intend to run the sessions again later in the North and South West of the country (with dates for these to be confirmed).

It will be a good opportunity to share details of the key workforce issues in your trust and hear from others' best practice. We will also discuss the key issues that are taking place at a national level.

Agenda (subject to change)

14.00 - 14.15: Welcome and introductions
14.15 - 14.45: Background to the NJC pay award
14.45 - 15.15: Moving to the new NJC pay spine: worked examples
15.15 - 15.30: Implementing the new NJC pay spine in MATs
15.30 - 15.45: Concluding remarks and questions

If you would be interested in attending, or would like to find out more about the event, please contact info@local.gov.uk.

We hope to see you there.
