From 1 October, housing associations like us have been required to publish more information under new government legislation called the Social Tenants Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs).
The new requirements are designed to improve transparency and make it easier for customers to access information about their housing provider.
Most of the information we’re required to publish under STAIRs is already available on our website, but we've set up a new page to help you find the information you need under the STAIRs classifications.

Earlier this year, we invited you to take part in the Housing Futures Network national survey exploring how housing services could evolve over the next 10 years. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared feedback.
Housemark shared the initial findings and themes from the national survey at the Housing Community Summit in September. They'll be using the themes to help redesign housing for the next decade.

Our Home Condition Surveys are still happening and will continue until December 2026. These surveys help us make sure your home is safe, well maintained and up to standard. They can identify repairs you may not be aware of and help us plan future improvements, such as new kitchens or bathrooms. We've appointed Savills to carry out the surveys on our behalf. We’ll send a letter to you in advance to tell you when Savills will be visiting your area.
Don’t worry if you’re not home when they visit. They will leave a card with contact details so you can arrange an appointment at a time that works for you.

By paying a small extra amount each month during 2027, you could have your December 2027 rent covered before Christmas! That means one less bill to worry about when the festive season arrives.
If you'd like to find out more, get in touch and our Money Matters team will work out how much you'd need to pay each month.

Did you know that you could be eligible for pension credit even if you already receive a state pension, own your home, and have savings?
A successful claim could increase your income and unlock additional support with things like energy costs and council tax.

At the September Customer Voices Panel meeting, the Panel and Leeds Federated colleagues discussed service improvements and ways customers can get involved.
The meeting covered plans to publish Panel meeting minutes on Your Voice, feedback from the recent Repairs Workshop which will help inform our repairs service, and new opportunities for customers to shape services through activities such as our In the Spotlight vlogs, policy reviews and upcoming engagement events.
Prospective new members also attended the session and had the opportunity to share fresh ideas and experiences.
We also discussed training and support for Panel members, along with colleague development to meet the new for the Competence and Conduct Standard (see next item on the newsletter).

Thank you to everyone who's shared feedback about the work we've been doing to meet the new Competence and Conduct Standard, which went live on the 1 October.
We have a Colleague Circle to highlight and help track the behaviours we want colleagues to meet. We've used feedback from the consultation to refresh our Colleague Circle and make sure it includes the right behaviours.
We're always looking for ways to do things better, so if you notice behaviours missing from the Colleague Circle or any suggestions, let us know in our short survey.
Don't forget, if you're registered and signed in on Your Voice when you complete the survey, you'll be entered into our bi-monthly prize draw to win £30.
