In June we published our TSMs. Our results are positive, but we’re committed to improving our services based on what you’ve told us.
Your views - we've listened and acted
From tackling anti-social behaviour to improving communication, repairs, and estate services, we’re taking clear steps to act on your feedback.
In this blog, we share a summary of the key themes we heard during 2025/26 and the changes we’ve made in response.

From August 2026, we'll only be sending out paper rent statements once a year, rather than the four times a year we have previously.
After this statement, we'll send the next one in April 2027. Don't forget you can register to see your live balance via MyAccount.
You can also still request a paper statement from us at any time. This has always been the case and won't change. You can call us on 0113 386 1000 or email hello@leedsfed.com and we can get a statement out to you straight away.

Since Awaab's Law came into force 10 months ago, we've strengthened our systems, processes and training to meet the new requirements, improved how we manage damp and mould cases, and ensured issues are resolved promptly. Our focus remains on tackling the root causes of damp and mould and making sure repairs are effective and homes remain safe and healthy for customers.

Your views - we've listened and acted
As part of our commitment to maintaining homes to a good standard, we replace kitchens when they are ready for renewal.Customers told us they wanted to know more about the process of getting a new kitchen, so we've put together a handy guide so you know what to expect if you ever have your kitchen replaced.

In spring we opened a consultation for customers on our service standards on Your Voice. Our service standards are clear, written commitments about the level of service you can expect from us. They set out what each team across the organisation will do, how well they’ll do it, and how quickly.
Your views - we've listened and acted
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views in the consultation. Your feedback has helped shape the final service standards, which are now available on our website.

Following the permanent closure of the House Exchange website on 31 July 2026, we're pleased to announce our new partnership with HomeSwapper the UK’s largest mutual exchange platform. A mutual exchange is a way to swap your home with another social housing tenant who also wants to move. Perhaps one wants to downsize and another needs more bedrooms. Or people may want to move to a different area.
If you're a customer living in Leeds, you can now register with HomeSwapper and start exploring available homes today.
Customers living in North Yorkshire, Wakefield and Kirklees will be able to access HomeSwapper from 1 September 2026.
If you have any questions about the mutual exchange process, please get in touch with us. You can find out more about HomeSwapper on our website.

From September 2026, all children whose parents or carers receive Universal Credit will be eligible for free school meals. Families will still need to apply through their local council to receive this support.
Transitional protection is ending. If your child currently receives free school meals under the transitional protection scheme but your family no longer receives Universal Credit, their entitlement will end at the end of the summer term 2026.
From September 2026, only families who receive Universal Credit will qualify for free school meals.
For more information or to apply, please contact your local council:

In June, customers shared their views on our repairs and heating services as part of our contractor procurement process.
Thank you to everyone who took part. The winners of the prize draw have now received their vouchers.
Your feedback is helping us better understand what customers value most from a repairs service, including:
- Fast response times
- Clear communication
- Getting repairs right first time
- High-quality customer service
We're currently reviewing all responses and will share the findings in a future update.
We contacted the customers who expressed an interest in getting more involved to join us for a workshop. Together they created 2 questions for us to include in the repairs tender which you can view and share your thoughts on our Your Voice page. They'll be meeting again to score the tender answers from the contractors.
