We’ve teamed up with the Harrogate Easier Living Project's (HELP)'s scheme from Harrogate & District Community Action (HADCA) to launch a one-year pilot project providing practical, trusted support with small jobs around the home for customers living in Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough.

Support includes things like:

• An annual garden tidy up
• Painting, basic DIY and small repairs
• Odd jobs e.g. moving furniture, fitting a key safe or grab rail, clearing out a shed, taking items to the tip, changing lightbulbs or fuses, protecting pipework in cold weather etc.

After the fantastic response last year, we're delighted to bring back our gardening competition. We loved seeing all the wonderful photos of customers' gardens and we can't wait to see what you've been growing this year. 

Whether it's blooming flowers, homegrown veggies, or a perfectly pruned hedge, we'd love to see it.

All you have to do is simply register to Your Voice and upload your gardening photos to the Photos section of our Get into Gardening page by 30 September. Once you've shared your photo, you'll be in with a chance of winning a £30 prize!

At the end of June it was Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week. The campaign aims to raise awareness of ASB, strengthen local responses, and amplify the rights of victims.

At this month's Hub, our Area Manager, Zuzka Downing, will be joining us during the afternoon to talk about local Neighbourhood Watch schemes. She'll be sharing information on existing groups, how you can get involved, and the support available for anyone interested in setting up a scheme in their neighbourhood.

To support customers in feeling safer at home, we'll be giving away a range of home security items, including:

• Wireless door and window alarms
• Window locks and sash jammers
• Door chains
• Door wedge alarms
• Personal alarms

Our next telephone surveys will take place between 3-21 August. Acuity Research will spend roughly 4 weeks contacting 150 customers by telephone to ask for views on things like repairs, condition of homes, anti-social behaviour and complaints. 

If you get the call, it'll only take about 10 minutes of your time. Here's a flavour of some of the questions they'll cover:

• How satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the overall repairs service from Leeds Federated over the last 12 months?
• Share your thoughts on your landlords approach to handling anti-social behaviour
• How concerned are you about the cost of living crisis for you or your household?
• Thinking about the condition of the home or building you live in, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you that Leeds Federated provides a home
  that is safe?
