What the Customer Voices Panel discussed in January |
|
A Customer Voices Panel Member shares a recap of the July meeting.
"At the January Customer Voices Panel meeting, we heard updates from the Heads of Service and talked through the information from the quarterly reports. These quarterly updates help us understand what's happening across the organisation and decide which areas we want to focus on in future meetings. We’ve arranged future sessions with the Head of Assets and the Housing Director so we can look at some topics in more detail.
We also heard that the new website will have a section for customer-facing policies. The Panel will help decide which policies should be included. The Panel have already helped shape the content of certain policies, and we chose to focus on this type of work later in the year.
We discussed the upcoming recruitment campaign for new Panel members and the plans for wider customer engagement. We discussed what had motivated us to become involved with the panel and how this could be communicated to encourage new people to join. We're excited to be involved in these activities and are looking forward to welcoming new members onto the Panel."

New Homes Week at the Housing Hub |
|
We’re celebrating New Homes Week at The Housing Hub on 27 February and inviting customers to find out more about the benefits of buying a new build home and how to get on the property ladder. You'll be able to chat to our Sales and Leaseholder Officer about our new developments and the home ownership options available.
Thinking about buying a home?
New build homes offer modern living, improved energy efficiency and lower maintenance costs. There are also affordable ways to buy, including shared ownership.
What is shared ownership?
Shared ownership allows you to buy a share of a new home and pay rent on the remaining part. You’ll usually need a smaller deposit, and you can buy more shares in the future if you choose. Read about Patricia’s experience of buying a shared ownership home.
Come and talk to us
If you’re interested in buying a home now or in the future, pop along to the Housing Hub on 27 February. There’s no obligation, just an opportunity to come in and find out more.
Location: Age UK, Bradbury Building, Mark Lane, Leeds, LS2 8JA. Time: We are open 10.00 am - 3.00 pm. (last appointment at 2.30pm)
To book an appointment, call 0113 386 1000. Walk-ins are welcome too.
