Let us know your needs & adjustments

Person

As part of our work to tailor our services to your individual needs we’re inviting customers to update the information we hold about any adjustments needed – whether that’s allowing extra time to answer the door when we call, providing information in a different format or something else.

Book your next Time to Talk on safety in the home

Speech bubbles

Join our next Time to Talk sessions on Tuesday 5 August at 12.30pm or Wednesday 6 August at 7.00pm.

These sessions will be hosted by Asset Manager in Building Safety, Asif Aslam. He will be talking about safety in the home.

Keeping your home safe is very important to us as a landlord and a legal requirement.

In this session Asif will explain how we approach key areas of keeping your homes safe from gas servicing programmes to electrical tests and how you can help too.

He also wants to know if you have concerns you about how we keep your home safe and how we and others might be able to help with advice and support.

How we're doing

As a social housing provider, we're required to collect and submit quarterly feedback from tenants/customers to the Regulator for Social Housing (RSH) to check that we're meeting the regulatory requirements and achieving expected standards and outcomes.

This feedback gives us valuable insights into your experience and helps us improve our services.

Find out how we've performed during April 2024-March 2025 through the link below.

What we've been up to this month

People stood under gazebo with a stall

Over the past month we've had a fantastic time attending the Hunslet Festival and Belle Isle Gala. Both events offered a wide range of family-friendly activities, including games, crafts, live performances, and food stalls.

Our team were on hand to offer advice, share information about the support available in the area, and to simply chat with members of the community.

Keep an eye on your Neighbourhood Plan pages on Your Voice to stay up to date with events and walkabouts happening in your neighbourhoods.

In Hastings Grove, Neighbourhood Officer Adele will be hosting a hanging basket event and Chris Powell will be having a community day alongside the Breeze in the Park event in Pudsey!

Keep up to date on Your Voice

What the Customer Voices Panel did in June

Customer voices panel members

At the meeting in June the panel met with Zuzka Downing Area Manager to consider customer information to support the Challenging Behaviour Policy. The Panel’s key recommendations included:

  • Making the leaflet less personalised and asking for a commitment to respect each other rather than a contract.
  • Listing the unacceptable behaviour rather than using the phrase zero tolerance.

We also held a Time to Talk session in June to gather feedback on the Challenging Behaviour Policy from other customers. Take a look at the slides from this session.

The Panel’s recommendations, and feedback from the Time to Talk session, were taken on board and general communications to support the policy have been amended.

The Panel also discussed the Customer Engagement and Influence Policy and decided to develop guiding principles to help colleagues and customers work well together and to know what to expect from each other.

Looking back on ASB Awareness Week

Two people sat talking

At the end of June it was Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week.

We shared a series of blogs on our website around the topics of: support for ASB victims, the court process for ASB, partnership work and our new approach to Good Neighbourhood Management.

The blogs also link to the ASB directory, where you can find out more about how to deal with different issues.
