Get on the housing ladder with a Shared Ownership!

House

A Shared Ownership is where you can buy between 10% and 75% of your home with a mortgage and deposit and pay an affordable rent on the rest.

For our customer Patricia, she found one of our Shared Ownership homes after her rent started to jump up by £200.

“I’m a huge advocate for Shared Ownership and Leeds Federated now. I didn’t think it would be possible to buy my own home but it is."

Customer shares their gardening top tips

Garden pots and flowers

With spring in the air and the sun coming out, it's the perfect time of year for gardening.

Not only is it a great way to connect with nature, but it also does wonders for your wellbeing. This has been the case for our customer, John, who has gone above and beyond to lend a helping hand to others with their gardens.

"I never thought I’d get into gardening, but it’s kept me going" - John

If you're new to gardening and don't know where to start, follow John's top tips in our blog:

Update on our community-based approach

We’re making great progress with our community-based approach, ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Over the past year, we’ve developed neighbourhood plans for all 54 neighbourhoods, focussing on local priorities and building stronger communities.

Looking at the year ahead, we’ll be putting these plans into action - working with local partners, addressing key issues, and continuing to listen and collaborate with you.

Exciting events are also coming up, including community days, drop-ins, and local galas!

Your voice matters! Stay involved and help shape your neighbourhood.
