Check how we're doing

The Regulator of Social Housing has introduced new requirements for all social housing providers to ask a sample of their residents 12 standardised perception satisfaction questions at least once a year. We've been collecting data from customers over the last year and have now published the results.

Time to talk? Join our monthly discussions

Laptop and video call

It's always good to share information about what we're doing and hear what you think about our approach.

We appreciate you're busy so we're introducing a new programme of short online discussions every month where you can join in from the comfort of your home.

The first session, about our new community-based approach, is planned for Tuesday 6 August at 12.30pm and is repeated on Wednesday 7 August at 7pm with Michelle Collins Customer Services Director.

To join in, just register on Your Voice and book the session(s) that interest you.

Benefit changes and the move to Universal Credit

If you claim benefits and haven't moved over to Universal Credit yet, it will happen this year - the move is called 'Managed Migration'. Watch this 2 minute video from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to find out more about the changes.

Galas galore!

Colleagues and customers at festivals

We've had fun supporting two summer galas: Hunslet Festival and Belle Isle Gala.

Colleagues from our Sales team shared the benefits and opportunities for Shared Ownership and getting on the housing ladder, and we kept children and adults entertained with our own Tin Can Alley and free prize drawer for an air fryer.

We also met the Lord Mayor (24/25), Abigail Marshall Katung, and Ronnie the Rhino (Leeds Rhino's mascot)!

If you have a community event going on where you live, let us know and we'd be happy to join in and support you. Contact Siaa-Liane Mathurin, Customer Engagement Officer by email at siaa-liane.mathurin@lfha.co.uk

Looking to move? How about a home swap!

Home swap

If you're thinking of moving, a home swap or 'Mutual Exchange' might be for you - this is when two social housing tenants agree to swap their homes.

Perhaps you want to downsize and someone else needs more bedrooms. Or you may want to move to a different area.

We've partnered with House Exchange to help people with their home swaps. House Exchange is free to join and can help you swap your home with people across the country.

You can also get in touch with your Neighbourhood Officer who can help you with the process too. Phone us on 0113 386 1000 or email at hello@leedsfed.com.

Our office conversion is complete!

Arthington House

We completed the conversion of our old offices into apartments earlier this year and are delighted to share that Arthington House is now fully let.

“After my previous experience of sharing a house with others, having my own spacious flat in Arthington House is amazing! It’s 100% better than where I lived before!”

Share your messages of hope and hardship

Speech bubbles

We're supporting JRF/Trussell Trusts 'Guarantee the Essentials' campaign which calls for changes to Universal Credit. As part of the campaign, we're collecting messages from customers about the impact of the cost of living - the themes are around both hope and hardship.

Our messages will be collated with messages from other social housing customers across the country and shared with Parliament later in the year. If you have a message to share, email it to us at news@lfha.co.uk

Report harm, abuse and neglect

Man holding a phone

We want to make sure you're safe from 'harm, abuse and neglect'. This doesn't always look the same for everyone but can include things like someone stopping you from using your own money or someone hurting you or not looking after you properly.

Find more examples of harm, abuse and neglect and how you can report it over on our website.

If you think someone is in immediate danger you should call the police on 999.
