Could We Help You?

Up to £2.1 billion of pension credit is unclaimed by around 880,000 eligible households! Attendance Allowance is a benefit for people over state pension age. If you have a long-term physical or mental condition or disability, it doesn't matter what your condition is – what matters is how it affects you. If you need help with personal care (this could be things like getting showered and dressed ready for the day or looking after your feet), or would benefit from a bit of support or a check in to make sure you're ok, you may be eligible.. Find out more below about how we helped one customer and how we could help you.

A new year and a new home!

We have now finished work to convert all of our old office space in Arthington House  in to 22 new flats for affordable rent. We have already welcomed 9 customers into their new homes and more are due to move in soon. Being so close to Leeds city centre has also been a real bonus for people who work there. We hope everyone enjoys their lovely new homes!

Keeping you informed about your complaints

Unfortunately, things can go wrong sometimes and when that happens,we want to hear about it and try and put things right as soon as possible. Over the last few years, we have tried to improve how we approach complaints, responding to the advice and guidance from the Housing Ombudsman. This month, we have introduced a new role to help keep customers updated about any complaint and to co-ordinate our approach to complaints across Leeds Federated.

Complaints

"We hope you do not need to complain, but if you do we want you to feel heard." Beth Metcalfe, Complaints Co-ordinator

Keeping your home safe - and the chance to win £200!

Electrical safety

As your landlord, we're responsible for checking your electrics every five years, which helps keep you and your home safe. This check is carried out by APS, our in-house contractor.

We know this might not seem to have a visible benefit to you, but to encourage everyone to allow access for this important work, every customer who lets our contractor in to their home to carry out the test and any follow up work will be included in a free £200 prize draw each quarter! The first prize draw will be in April. Fingers crossed- you might be a winner!
