New regulations to ensure landlords are held to account

The Regulator of Social Housing has been given new powers to help improve the quality of housing and services that tenants receive. To help make this happen, they are planning to introduce new standards that social housing landlords like Leeds Federated will have to meet. The regulator is currently asking tenants for their views on the proposals. Visit the Consultation on the consumer standards for more information and to share your views.

You can read more about the standards below.

How do you rate services from Leeds Federated?

Every three months MEL research (an independent research agency) telephones at least 150 tenants to find out how you rate our services.  We now follow the prescribed survey by the Regulator for Social Housing (RSH) introduced in April which includes 12 key tenant satisfaction measures, here are the headline results this summer:

What happens when I report anti-social behaviour?

ASB

We know that it may be difficult for some customers to report anti-social behaviour and it can make people feel anxious and isolated. If something is making you feel unhappy or unsafe in your home, you can call us to report this. We will listen to you!

We are always sorry to hear of anti-social behaviour and we know the impact this can have on our communities. When a customer makes a report, we will try and establish if there are other groups or organisations that can support you or the person whose behaviour appears to be impacting others.
