Catalyst - Why Digital Exclusion Is a Tech Justice Issue
This briefing outlines how digital exclusion disproportionately affects minoritised groups, deepening poverty and restricting fair access to essential services and opportunities. Rooted in systemic oppression, digital exclusion denies many people the skills, devices, and connectivity needed to participate fully in society. Evidence shows that millions lack basic digital skills or reliable internet access, particularly women and people from global majority communities. For further information about Why Digital Exclusion Is a Tech Justice Issue, visit the Catalyst website.
