Chapeltown and Harehills Learning Project (CAHLP) offers a free Community Digital Health and Wellbeing Clinic, providing support for individuals with IT and digital skills. Trust Leeds - Digital Do It
Every Tuesday, 10:00am - 11:15am, online
Trust Leeds runs interactive digital sessions online every Tuesday morning, open to anyone looking to build digital skills or complete digital tasks. Sessions cover a range of activities, from online research and social media planning to designing posters or flyers. The Highrise Project - Arts Collective
Every Tuesday, 10:00am - 1:00pm, Armley Community Hub and Library, LS12 1UQ
Arts Collective invites Leeds residents to a welcoming art space designed for everyone, regardless of experience. Create alongside local artists in a relaxed and supportive setting, with free access to materials, opportunities to share skills and explore digital art techniques. Independent Age - Hi Digital
Hi Digital created by the Vodafone Foundation, offers free online resources aimed at helping people build digital confidence. Whether you’re new to the internet or have some experience but haven’t fully explored its potential, Hi Digital provides straightforward, step-by-step courses covering essential digital topics. SIM gifting from Leeds Libraries
To support people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, community hubs and libraries across Leeds have O2, Vodafone and Three mobile SIMs available with up to six months unlimited calls and texts plus data to help people stay in touch and get online.
People can be signposted to Central Library, Armley Community Hub and Library, Reginald Centre Community Hub and Library, Compton Centre Community Hub and Library, Dewsbury Road Community Hub and Library.

Tablet lending from Leeds Libraries
Leeds Libraries can support community organisations’ digital inclusion programmes by lending iPads with data to be used with service users. Please email Leeds Libraries to express an interest.
iPads are also available for individuals to borrow at Armley Community Hub and Library, Compton Centre Community Hub and Library, Headingley Community Hub and Library, Holt Park Community Hub and Library, Hunslet Community Hub and Library, Reginald Centre Community Hub and Library, Seacroft Community Hub and Library. People can be signposted to any of these sites to borrow an iPad for up to eight weeks. Proof of address is required to borrow a device.

Digital drop-ins at Leeds Libraries
Need help to use your tablet, smartphone or computer to try something new, say hello or get tech savvy? Every week there are several digital drop-ins at libraries around the city. Come along with your device or use a library PC and talk to friendly librarians who will help you get started. Find the dates and locations of the Digital Drop-ins on the Leeds Inspired website.
Free data through the National Databank at O2 stores
The National Databank works like a foodbank but provides free data, texts, and minutes to support those facing data poverty.
O2 is offering free mobile data to those most in need, helping people stay connected to essential services like banking, job hunting, and staying in touch. Leeds O2 stores at Trinity, White Rose, and Crossgates now provide access to the National Databank, co-founded by O2 and Good Things Foundation, the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity.

Voluntary Action Leeds - Leeds Funding Support Network
7 January, 1:00pm - 2:15pm, online
If you’re involved in fundraising for your charity, community group, or other not-for-profit organisation in Leeds, whether as a management committee member, volunteer, or paid worker, join the Leeds Funding Support Network. This session will offer guidance on funding opportunities, fundraising strategies, and provide a chance to discuss your group’s funding needs. Training and networking opportunities from Good Things Foundation
Good Things Foundation have a series of training and networking opportunities to support organisations with their digital inclusion offer. To attend, organisations need to be a member of their National Digital Inclusion Network. The network is free to join.

Supporting basic digital skills with Learn My Way
9 January, 11:00am - 12:00 noon, online
Learn My Way is a free learning platform from Good Things Foundation that is designed to help people learn basic digital skills. The topics are all aligned with the Essential Digital Skills Framework and range from turning on your device and using a mouse or touch screen through to working with Office programs.
This is a great session for anyone who is new to supporting people to learn digital skills, whether you're a digital champion, tutor or hub manager. Book onto Supporting basic digital skills with Learn My Way via Eventbrite.

Tools and resources to help inform, shape, and develop your digital inclusion offer. Practical advice, worksheets, and session plans for use in digital skills sessions can be found on the Digital Inclusion Google Drive.
NHS website walk through videos
New step-by-step videos are now available to help users navigate the NHS App and NHS account. The NHS account is accessible online through the NHS website and offers the same features as the App. For more information about NHS website walk through videos, visit the NHS Digital website.
Closing the Gap - How Local Initiatives Empower Digital Inclusion
Digital Poverty Alliance hosted a webinar to explore how local initiatives are tackling digital exclusion. The event featured strategies and success stories demonstrating the power of community-driven approaches to close the digital divide. Ofcom - A Positive Vision for Media Literacy
Ofcom has published its comprehensive three-year Media Literacy Strategy, focusing on empowering UK residents, especially young people, to confidently navigate the digital landscape. A central aim of the strategy is to continue enhancing digital inclusion efforts across the UK, with a focus on resources such as the Local Government Association’s Digital Inclusion Network as a key pathway to achieving this goal. Funding
100% Digital Leeds are keen to support the development of any funding bids with a digital inclusion element, or to help you embed digital inclusion throughout your project. If you would like support contact us.
Some funding links will take you through to the Funding Leeds website and you will need to register to access the information. Once you have registered for free you will have access to a national database of funding sources and get regular email updates on your funding area of interests.
Thomas Wall Trust - Grants for Registered Charities
Grants are available for UK registered charities for specific projects that improves communication skills for disadvantaged adults and supports NEET people into employment.
Amount: Up to £5,000.
Deadline: 6 January.

Lloyd's Bank Foundation- Funding Programme for Specialist Small Charities
Grants are available to strengthen the capacity and capabilities of small, local specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues.
Amount: Up to £75,000 in unrestricted funding.
Deadline: 23 January 5:00pm.

Foyle Foundation Small Grants Scheme
Grants are available to smaller charities registered and operating in the UK for projects that will make a significant impact on their work.
Amount: Up to £10,000.

WCIT - IT4Good Grant Programme
Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations across the UK to deliver IT projects and activities that support the themes of education, inclusion, IT for charities, and understanding of IT.
Amount: Up to £15,000.
