Leeds Community Foundation are pleased to be opening a new fund in partnership with 100% Digital Leeds. Five grants of up to £10,000 each will fund the development and use of sustainable interventions which support digital inclusion in Leeds. Organisations should use grants to strengthen their internal capacity; this will enhance organisations’ core digital-inclusion work, ensuring that people and communities in Leeds have the skills, support and equipment to be active online, now and in the future.

Digital arts participation project for Arts in Care Homes Day - Launch Webinar
100% Digital Leeds are working to create a programme of creative digital opportunities for care homes for The National Day of Arts in Care Homes. The Arts in Care Homes Day programme will be a series of arts and creative events and activities delivered by arts organisations and available for care homes to engage with remotely via digital tools like Zoom, between Saturday 24th and Friday 30th September 2022.
This webinar is an opportunity for artists, arts organisations, care homes, and other interested parties to hear more about the proposed plans for Arts in Care Homes Day in Leeds and find out how they can get involved.

Creative digital storytelling skills - free workshops with LEEDS 2023
We’re partnering with LEEDS 2023 to offer a series of free workshops to partners, making creative digital skills and software more accessible to Leeds communities. The workshops are free, assume no prior digital skills, utilise free digital tools, and are led by experts from across Leeds’s creative industries. Skills for Supporting Digital Inclusion: a free four week course with Barclays Digital Eagles
This 4 week program being run by the Barclays Digital Eagles has been designed to help people build essential digital skills and enhance digital confidence. Over the course of the program you will learn how to get to grips with the basics, in addition to learning how to use technology to keep the people you support engaged and stimulated. The program will finish with a tour of Barclays' free interactive learning platform Digital Wings, which can be utilised after the program to continue with your learning and to develop further digital skills.
The four session programme is best attended as a course but attendees may choose to attend only certain sessions. Tuesdays and Thursday session content will be the same each week.

Annual Leeds Public Health and Wellbeing Conference
An opportunity to hear about the latest public health evidence and what works, network with colleagues and celebrate all the great work you are doing in Leeds.
This conference is relevant for anyone who is working to improve health and wellbeing in Leeds – we all have a contribution to make.
The theme for this year will be The Power of Connections and the event will include:
- Keynote speakers including the Director of Public Health for Leeds, and Leeds City Council’s Executive Member for Public Health and Active Lifestyles

Age UK Leeds: New Digital Hub!
Age UK Leeds is encouraging older people to visit their new Digital Hub and access drop in and group activities to help them stay connected and increase their digital knowledge, confidence and skills.
The rolling programme of digital sessions is designed for people aged 50 and over involves a range of fun and informative activities including Tech and Tea Drop in sessions, topic-based sessions such as Technology for Fun and Smartphones and Tablets For Beginners and a series of guest speakers in our Tech Talks.
As well as helping with digital knowledge and confidence, the sessions give older people the chance to meet and socialise with other people who are wanting to make the most of the digital world.
The sessions will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday during June, 10am – 12pm and 1pm -3pm morning at the Community Hub, Age UK Leeds, Bradbury Building, Mark Lane, LS2 8JA (off Dortmund Square). Older people and interested family members, carers or other professionals are very welcome to call in during these times to attend a session or find out more.
