Learn to ride a bike with free adult cycle training

January is the perfect time to make a positive change. Do you want to learn to ride a bike or start cycling to work? Free adult cycle training sessions are now available to book, including beginner and 1:1 training. Trial an electric cargo bike for free

Businesses and organisations can now apply to rent an electric cargo bike free of charge for three months. Electric cargo bikes are pedal-assisted bikes with a large storage area, perfect for sustainable local deliveries and transporting items across Leeds. Climate Innovation District partners with Enterprise Car Club

Residents living in the Climate Innovation District now have access to two electric cars and drive time worth £50. Located on the banks of the River Aire, the Climate Innovation District an award-winning low carbon development. That's why the developer, Citu, has partnered with Enterprise Car Club, making it even easier for residents to use sustainable transport and reduce car ownership.

Karshare has landed in Leeds

Karshare is a platform for community car sharing, which reduces car ownership by helping people rent a vehicle when they need one. Is your car parked and unused most of the time? Sign up to Karshare and earn up to £550 a month by renting it out to others.

Travel to Work Survey 2021 results

The Travel to Work Survey 2021 indicated a significant shift towards hybrid working, with 25% of participants currently working from home, and an increase in cycling to the workplace. To learn more about the commuting trends of 2021, click here.


BikeRegister team available for workplace events

BikeRegister is the national police database that protects bikes from theft and helps the police to reunite stolen bikes with their owners. We can run free BikeRegister events at your workplace to encourage your colleagues to cycle to work. For more information, email bikeregister@leeds.gov.uk
