Headrow resurfacing work 🚧

Dear resident,

We wanted to send you an update about upcoming work due to happen on the Headrow scheme.

This essential work involves resurfacing the road which which we need to do as we come to the end of the scheme. The scheme is set to be complete in May 2021. 

This work will need a full road closure on the dates below:

• Headrow - Vicar Lane junction to Park Row junction: Friday 23 April 8pm – Monday 26 April 5.30am.
• Headrow – Park Row junction to Westgate: Friday 30 April 8pm – Monday 3 May 5.30am.
• Vicar Lane and New York Road junction: Friday 7 May 8pm – Monday 10 May 5.30am.

We will be using noisy plant machinery as we need to plane the top 50mm of the road. Where possible, we’ll work hard to ensure noise is kept to a minimum. If you’d like to speak to us further about the impact of this work, please get in touch by sending an email to connectingleeds@leeds.gov.uk
