Brown bin collections

Brown bin collections started last week. 

• Your collection day may have changed. Check your bin day online or download the Leeds Bins app
• If your brown bin day isn't showing on the website or Leeds Bins app fill in this form and we will fix it. 
• We can't guarantee your brown bin will be collected. If it isn't collected on time, it probably won't be emptied until your next scheduled collection.

• Below are some other options for you to recycle your garden waste

Recycling Centres

You can bring garden waste to a recycling centre.

• All 8 recycling centres are now open 8am-6pm, 7 days a week
• You need to book an appointment to visit a recycling centre
• Otley has limited appointments and is only accepting garden waste. 
• There are lots of free slots at Kirkstall and Wetherby

Composting

You can also compost your garden waste at home.
