Holt Lane and Otley Road closures
Resurfacing and white lining
We're writing to let you know they'll be overnight resurfacing and white lining activities to sections of Holt Lane and Otley Road.
The hours of work will be 6pm to 6am, however should the current Covid-19 restrictions be lifted and general traffic levels increase the works may need to start later in the evening.
These works can be noisy, we do however aim to complete the noisiest elements before midnight. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We expect the works to take 3 nights (Wednesday 13 May– Friday 15 May) but have an additional 2 nights in our programme (Monday 18 May & Tuesday 19 May) to allow for issues which could delay progress, such as heavy rain.
As the garage is open until 10pm we will accommodate this by surfacing away from the garage until after they have closed.

Where are the works?
We will be undertaking overnight resurfacing and white lining activities to the carriageway on sections of Holt Lane and Otley Road as shown in the image below.
 Where they'll be road closures
Whilst we are carrying out these activities road closures will be implemented at:
- Otley Road from its junction with Kingsley Drive to its junction with Farrar Lane / Church Lane
- Holt Lane from its junction with Whinfield to its junction with Otley Road
- Gainsborough Avenue point closure at its junction with Holt Lane
These closures will be supported by site staff and access to properties will be maintained, with signed diversions in place. Details of the diversion routes are below.
